  • Thanksgiving Delight

    Another delightful Thanksgiving within our own home and family.  The turkey was a success - I let it soak in brine all night.  Tender, tasty, and delicious - even still with leftovers.  Cambree hasn't eaten meat so well.

  • Food Storage Adventure

    Last Saturday, we canned the food we bought while we were in Salt Lake City.  We canned 645 pounds of food, which came to 152 #10 cans of food.  We canned wheat, oats, 6-grain cereal, flour, white rice, brown rice, and sugar.
