A Positive Customer Service Experience

Just a quick post today -- here's an example of good customer service in action. I purchased something online but I accidentally let the browser auto-fill our Idaho Falls address instead of our new St. George address during checkout. When the package didn't come, we looked into the issue, and the seller looked up the UPS tracking code. The tracking message said something like "They don't live here anymore." He called UPS yesterday, explained what had happened, and gave them my new home address. The new package was here today. This is great customer service in action -- what I find is key here is that the UPS driver in Idaho was astute enough to read the name on the package. The driver knew I moved away (he dropped off a package the day we were packing the truck), so he didn't leave the package on the door step of what used to be our home. That driver deserves a raise for being so observant.Comments
