Hurray!  After months of work, we launched a new website today, Free Quilt Classifieds!  This website lets you list your quilting, sewing, and craft supplies for free.  Quilters all over the world now have a place to go to list their used longarm machines, sewing machines, etc.  Crafters can list their sewing and quilting services, including longarm quilters, in a classified listing format!  This is an exciting new venture.  It's like a Craig's List for the quilting industry.

I am proud of the design, and the programming was quite the feat.  One of the neat things we programmed is the ability to break the site down to regions, so that visitors can view what's listed in their area.  Right now we have the whole word in 8 regions (very broad), but hope to divide it down as we get more and more visitors.  We also paid special attention to what it will take to list something on the site. We wanted to make it as easy as possible to do so. 

We also added forums (that are region-specific), events calendars (also region specific), and a blog to add more value to visitors coming to the website.  We programmed this site 100% in Django.

This is just our beta release.  I look forward to hearing your feedback!
